This is Knights Over Europe. From the website www.pcpilot.net

"Going back in time to WWI and the dawn of air combat, we hear from the developers how Knights Over Europe will re-create those up-close-and-personal battles over the Western Front."

I haven't seen it out yet.

Miles.

KOE is basically the new Red Baron 3d. Many of the old Sierra/Dynamix crew that produced RB in the late 90's are on this development team. It's a work in progress and they have no details on relase dates as of yet. Although the screenshots are truly amazing, there is no real set information if there is progress, or if this will ever actually hit the shelves.

It looks like a real good sim though. In one of the pics, they actually went the extra mile to get the Ace schemes correct as well as the Jastas. It looks like they are truely taking they're time with it.

If they can mimic the Campaign Engine of RB which is still to this day unsurpassed by any other sim, the will really have made the ultimate WWI sim in graphics as well as playability.

Brdgs!
