My buddy is playing RB3D and has it all up to date with all the correct patches and such, and is using Windows XP.

The problem is this: *When he finishes a mission, the game crashes to the desktop before the next mission.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

RUn DX8.1 or better, set your desktop resolution to something different than what your running RB in.

Stop by the PL forum if you have other rb related issues

It's a known bug - with no surefire cure. I usually get around it by choosing another menu, then going back to it - that somehow usually stabilises the system.
cheers,
shredward
