Hello!

This is a marketing research, If you want to help...

The long awayted (by me, at least!) card game "Wings of War" is finally going to be printed at the end of this month. We are just fixing the last details on the layout.

The first box will include Sopwith Camel, Sopwith Triplane, SPAD XIII, Albatros DVa and Fokker Dr.I. Most of them will be on the cover.

The second will include Nieuport 11, Hanriot HD.1, AIRCO/De Havilland D.H. 4, Halberstadt D.III and UFAG C.I. On the cover, Scaroni's HD.1 is attacking a very colorful UFAG above the Alps.

Can you please help with the names of the boxes? As working titles, we choosed "Famous Fighters" for the first one, with "Famous Aces" being a reserve. For the second box, that include a few two-seaters, we choosed "Watch your back!"

But how do they sound in English? Are they good enough? Do you have any alternative to propose?

Thanks a lot!

Andrea

I think "Watch Your Back" would be better rendered "Check Your Six!"

Good point. Do you think it would be clear also to non-air-enthusiasts? This is not a simulation, so the target is generic players... As many of them as possible!

I would prefer "Watch my back" 'cause that's what the back seater is supposed to do for the pilot.

Just a thought.

Andrea,

How's your search for a title going? I saw the posts on the rec.games.board group, and it seems that you're getting some relatively good advice.

Regards,

Actually, the final word will be the one of the publisher: the general manager of Nexus will be back tomorrow and then we'll see. Maybe I'll pass by on Friday (they are at 300 km from here).

I think we have many ideas, both for the first two boxes and for the following ones. Thanks for everybody!

Here we have an illustration for the first cover. Don't tell anybody that I showed you it... This is quite a classic. The second one will be more exotic.

Bye!

A.
