Hello!

That's the draft for the second cover of our game. A few things have to be fixed. But I have a question that will reveal my total ignorance of any thechnical detail: is it correct that the upper wing flaps of Scaroni's Hanriot are one up and one down, while the two of the tail are both down? What is he doing?

Thanks!

Andrea

Ciao Andrea !
I'll try to explain you in english, so if someone has something to add ...
The things did you called "flaps" are the ailerons, and it's normal they are one up and one down...that means the plane is rolling on the direction of the lowered aileron.
The tail elevators are both down 'cause the Hanriot is diving.
The move in the pic looks like technically correct, he probably is diving and rolling to swiftly slide on the enmy tail.

PS: by the way, looking at the "timone di coda" I'd say that the plane is also turning right...

The ailerons are inducing a roll or bank to the right, which is what does the actual turning. The rudder is controlling the yaw or direction the aircraft is pointed.

Andrea,

The only thing that looks a little off is that the elevators look like they should be up instead of down. The reason for this is that the aircraft's nose is pointing up, not down.

Regards,

-Drew

P.S. It's beautiful artwork!

Maybe trying to position for a shot from behind the opponent and below his rear gunner?

Yeah, that could be. Either way, the artwork is beautiful.

Indeed!

Sorry if that last one came off wrong. *I just meant my guess as to what's happening. *I am NO expert. *Just a piker with a bit of a brain for Google searching.

P.S. I just modified the message Drew quoted. Now I know such quotes aren't changed when the original is. I meant all of this in the nicest way. Sorry for any confusion.
