Salute!

Alot of great enhancements are being made to RB. Here is a post from WOV highlighting some of the server enhancements.

There have been MAJOR advances in expanding the online world of Red Baron. The patches and new tools have finally been released for the large and small server operator.
Here are the "essentials" for running your server:

1. rbserverM02.exe
This is a version of Sierra's rbserver.exe v1.0.0.3 that has been patched by Kpijon. This version should be used for running all servers. It will report ALL of the dropped targets, not just the "Red Boxed" ones. Simultaneous bombing is now a reality without having to file reports or other manual reporting operations.

2. rbserver_NAT_patch.exe
Up until now, servers that were running on a LAN could not be seen by players on the Internet. Kpijon has developed this patch that eliminates this problem.

3. Red Baron Server Manager
This is a full graphical user interface program that makes configuring your server much easier than manually editing the rbserver.ini and rbserver.scs files. The included Landmark Editor makes creating your custom maps as easy as clicking on the landmarks that you either do or don't want. The Kneeboard Map function lets you easily create custom maps that can be used within the game on the pilots kneeboard map display.

4. Red Baron Scoring Utility
This program allows you to design your own scoring system for your event. You have independent control over points assigned to every target, including different values for each style of target. Automatically score for active aerodromes. Penalties can be set for exceeding the number of pilots allowed, using scouts as bombers, and destroying friendly targets. Separate logs are created for pilot IPs, chat, bombing, entrances and exits, and kills. An all inclusive scoring log is generated for web posting or email distribution.

5. Red Baron Multiplayer Utility
Easily select from an unlimited number of gunsights. Edit your chat macros without manually editing your mplayer.ini file. Easily manage your list of known server.

6. Red Baron Stats Utility Coming Soon
Use this utility to import the Pilot Scores log from the Red Baron Scoring Utility to instantly generate stats files for web posting and/or email distribution. With the click of a button, create stats for each squadron, each side (Allied or German), the entire game, or any combination.

You can find these and many other useful items in the file section.

SALUTE!
