Check out the items on the following website (be patient, scroll down there are several versions of the same files : )

http://www.xs4all.nl/~rensg/New_high_quali...lity_planes.htm

On it are posted some major upgrades to the terrain file for Red Baron 3d for users of non-glide enabled graphics cards. I downloaded the entire set of planes and the 2D terrain for use on my Athlon computer. They are really nice, a vast improvement to the standard terrain look under 2D that we non-glide enabled (anymore > ) fliers had to put up with. It's a big download, but worth it.

Here's an example of the winter terrain in 2D with a new Fokker DrI.

Forget it! PromiseLand's 2D terrain is MUCH better!

News: In a short time the all-season PL terrain is coming out for 3D and 2D.
