The possibility of integrating new gameplay features or theaters of operations must depend on how well the initial release is crafted, how it will be received by flight sim fans, and therefore how well it sells.
Knights of the Sky is focused on the day operations over the Western Front 1917-18, with a little overlap of its content into 1916.
No details on porting the sim to gaming consoles has been forecasted so far.

I am still very excited about this sim. Does anyone know if it will be Vista 64Bit compatible?
Just wondering.

Hi WF2,
As of a few months ago they hadn't tested their build on Vista 64-bit.
My new PC is a Vista 64-bit machine also, so I'm interested too.
I'll see if I can get an updated answer, ok?

The game looks so real that you can get eye damage by just looking at the sun!! .I have another question, does the game allow you to paint your own crate. For example, paint Fokker blue cowl, white top wing, blue body, and white wheels. That would be awsome.

WF2,
VikS says they anticipate no problem with the sim operating on Vista 64-bit PCs, since the same DX api is used, but the 64-bit compiler hasn't been built for it yet, so no formal testing has been done on this OS.
At the moment the sim has been tested with Win Vista 34-bit though, and it runs without problems.
Btw, Knights of the Sky will be previewed at the Leipzig Game Con (GC 2008) this August 21-24, in the non-public part of the show, so it looks like the sim has reached a level of development where interesting a Western distributor might be on the horizon.

This is a previewed list from some time ago, so there may be a few more aircraft added to the roster, and some shown are now player-flyable too. It has also been hinted that many of the aircraft will become player-flyable after the sim's initial release, and that multi-seat aircraft will become crewable in all positions through a patch or add-on package, which will make online combat a real hoot.
