Sim Recommendations

Does anybody know a ww1 flight simulator on the web that's free and a good game to play?
I've been playing the dogfights history channel game and sky goofers but none of them are what i'm looking for.
So any suggestions?

I think it is possible to download the Red Baron game for free although I am not sure which version. Perhaps a Red Baron fan can supply you with a link. There are many mods and patches available for that ever popular game.

The Targetware sim is free and a work in progress. Several parts of it deal with WW1 aviation - 'Richtofen's Skies' and 'War Over Poland' (the latter using WW1 aircraft in a post-WW1 theme). Just bear in mind that it's flight-modelling is realistic and so not exactly easy Off-line, the sim features no AI aircraft, so to get the most out of it you have to fly on-line.

You might try "Sky Battle". I downloaded it just this morning. Appears fun and challenging so far. Biggest challenge is that some of the aircaft choices are "locked" and I can't figure out how to unlock them, which makes me think it's really just a demo, but eveything I've found says it's a full game. Perhaps someone here can offer some advice. Sure would appreciate it! Thanks! Here's the link:

Yeah, realized the mistake too late, in addition to never having owned a simulation.
