The Rise Of Flight designers blog is now open, and looks to show a good start.

Hi migl, this is what Albert Zhiltsov, the Game Producer for Rise Of Flight had to say recently on the hoped for release window for the sim:

"We do our best to make game ready by 2008. Under specific circumstances it may be ready by first quarter 2009."

I highly doubt that this game will be cancled. Not to be a downer or anything but I sadly believe that most kids today won't bother with this game unless if it involves shooting inocent pedestrians or assulting prostitutes (Though there are kids with a strong intrest in aviation,so its not going to be a total loss.).We can't afford another WW1 game project like this cancled,or we'll have to make due with the outdated RB3D and wait for another four years for another project.Anyway,LONG LIVE JASTA KLUGERMANN!!!The first online Jasta of ROF.

Thanks a lot FlyXwire!
But i have read that information on the blog of the Rise of The Sky.
But any way someone could be a "spy" and know something more!
I am or we are waiting for this game for sooooooooo long.
Unfortunely i have to agree with Willi Von Klurgeman wen he talks about this new generation kids.
But i am optimist about the release of the game. (i'm praying)
When i have 7 or 8 years old i play games on timex and Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K then i bought the commodore amiga 500, thats when i was "catched" (i dont know how to say the right word) : by the sim aviation. lol
Today i have a good PC.
But i think im not going to play this game in full resolution.
My system is: Intel core duo E8500 3.16Ghs, 3Gb RAM, Nvidia Geforce 8600GT 512MB DDR2, Saitek X52 and Audio FX 5.1 Force Feedback Headphones. I hope i can use them online even if we are on WW-I. In that time we dont have radio communications. lol
I WANT THIS GAME ON CHRISTMAS!!!

(sometimes that's all we can do)

Gettin' the core game finished and releashed...then it ought to be smooth sailing.

There's another nice blog update today on the Rise Of Flight website by Albert Zhiltsov, showing the sim's building and town modeling capabilities. He mentions that so far over 300 airdrome locations have been built, and that provincial small towns will number at least 500. Here's two of the screenshots shown today, with a selection of buidlings as "before" and "after".

Sorry my error or mistake on my last post.
What i mean to say is Rise of Flight and not Rise of the sky! I like more the oldest name, Knights of the sky. That's why.
About the last update i think this clouds looks more realistic and the buildings makes me imagine on a plane flying over them and wath above the sky the towns, rivers and the camps... I feel sad whith the bad news (R.I.P). I play IL-2 too, but i never play in team, so i never see him online. And i dont know how to do it (play in team).
Lets talk about the game. And if we make a team squadrom here in this forum?
Lets recrute some guys and give a name to the squadrom and... I don't Know!
But i think it was a good idea! What do you say guys?
I think my english is terrible! Sorry for that.
