Wfp2 (Red Baron II patch)-Allied planes on German sides?!

I was wondering if any of you who downloaded the Western Front Patch 2 for RB II/3D know any way on how to solve this problem. As I can see, SUPPOSEDLY allied planes such as Handley-Page 0/400, Nieuport 27, and Morane L Recon have turned to the German side!

A list of problems this mod have caused includes:

Down to Desktop when Ace Preview is viewed
Down to Desktop when Ace Dossiers is viewed
Also, when heavy bombers particularly the Gotha and the HP are damaged, their wheels don't go off, as when they crash they don't blast to pieces but are still whole!

Anyways I can fix these?

Hi Marcov,

The best place to take your questions is the Western Front Patch Forum. You will have to join Delphi Forums, but it is free, and you will also have access to the SWWISA forum.

WFP2 is indeed a patch for nuts of RB3D; it can give the best attainable from this old game when learned, though.
  1. Don't be confused by Object Preview: allied planes can occupy german slots, but this does not affect game.
  2. game allows only 20 aces for nation: WFP2 patchers set more and this causes crash when you attempt to open Ace Book: simply do not.
  3. Beautiful Gotha and HP models (both made by Uhlan) unfortunately were left incomplete: they lack a damaged status.

WFP does really push RB3D to its limits. For example the usage of the slots available for the planes.
In fact, RB3D doesnt has enough slots availabe for all planes WFP uses. As a sollution the slots are occupied by multiple aircrafts - of course at different dates.
If a plane is withdrawn from the front a new one can occupy its slot without any problems - even if its an enemy one.
The only problem which could occur is by changing your pilot/campaign. For some missions the game date remains the same as in your old campaign. The result may be a german squadron full of Nieuports
Thats quite confusing for the first time...
