Yeah,I noticed that too.The Fokker crash to me looked like a rock being thrown to the ground. The crash as Womanfly 2 stated, should look solid. They would make either a light or large (depending on the velocity) explosion.Light crashes would cause parts tearing out, plane to flip over, petrol to leak out,a small fire, and eventualy,an explosion.A more destructive crash from a faster speed would cause an imediate explosion with a large amount of flaming parts and fragments flying. The result would be a circular patch of flaming debris around the wreak. And GregorySharp is correct, their should be 48 stars, the US didn't have 50 states until 1950.But,it is all correctable, and still have high expectations for this incredible game.Fight on fly on!

The developer has a publisher for distribution in Russia, but we've yet to learn if they have a publisher for western markets yet.
It's projected for release there at year's end, or most likely 1st quarter 2009.

I hope that you guys get a western publisher. If not,ROF would be played mostly by Europeans instead of the US.But,since this game is something new and of a different genre,a western publisher would be interested in this (in my opinion) incredible game.BTW,I've watched the "Hello" vid and the the game got even more incredible! The Albatros in the vid is wonderfully done. The flak seems to have a good A.I. and realistic.Oh,one more thing,FlyXwire could the next vid include a sunset, with a flight of Spads flying over a city with the player panning the view to the city below. And they suddenly get jumped by a group of Albatros' and Fokkers and a fierce dogfight starts. The scene would end with the victorious pilots flying into the sunset. That is a vid that most of us would get excited over and drool about.I suggested it since you said that we can request for a new vid. Please,FlyX,please,Im begging for a vid like this!

Willi,
I don't set the agenda for Rise Of Flight, or what the designers want to preview either. Just consider me a sometime messenger and AI ROF fan (and contributor).
WF2, I think they're pushing for as much media exposure as possible obviously, and that bodes well for securing an eventual western publisher. There have be a number of contacts by interested parties this past year, but I know of no publisher yet.

Well, since Im 15,I would know what sites teens mostly go to.Though Im not too interested in these sites (The Aerodrome is my myspace ) teens and gamers mostly go to site such as Myspace,Gamespy,Facebook, ect. So,if you convince them to advertise or promote your game on their site, and some of those people would be interested and cause what I call "the virus effect",because it would spread like one.And I checked Gamespy, and ROF is barely mentioned, actually, its only mentioned once or twice on a thread. Its worth a shot!

Hey WF2, I bet we wished we had Willi's energy still, to go along with our enthusiasm!
