Why never flyable 2-seaters?
In WW1 flight sims in the past,I notice that not a single one had a flyable 2-seater,let alone being the rear gunner.I don't see why its so hard to do that because its not so different from a sim where your in a B-17.I would love to see a sim where you get to be a Brisfit gunner with the twin Lewis guns

there was one from about 5 years back that had a rear gunner enabled, you could even spot rounds for artillery. Darned if I can recall the name of it though.

Willi,
You can: Over Flanders Fields.
You can fly a BE2c, FE2b, Strutter, RE8 or an F2b
Or, a Roland CII, DFW CV, or a Hannover CLIII.
Cheers,
shredward

You can also fly in the rear seat of a two-seater in the "Flyboys" game. Course enemy planes will be all over you like a swarm of mosquitoes! But at least you can radio for help and... what? They didn't have radios then? Are you saying the "Flyboys" game isn't good? Geez...

Hi Miles,
That would have been Dawn of Aces. We had an F2b and a Halb. CL.II. You could fly with a real tail-gunner/arty spotter or, if alone, turn on auto level flight and jump into the back seat(!) Did you fly in DoA too?
Awww... the good ol' days...
Cheers

Willi, in OFF Between Heaven and Hell I fly 2 seaters all the time. I really like the Roland CII "Walfisch" and the Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter. I pilot and change things up by observing. I find it to be great fun while so many other guys are flying the "glorybirds" the fighters of the later years. Here are a few pics I shot
