The flying ghost´s of our flightsim´s

I wondered since the very first flightsim i´ve played. Why is there not
one PC-flight Simulator where you can see the pilot´s legs and feet and his
hands when you look down into the cockpit ??. It´s almost like there´s
sitting a ghost in the plane. Anybody wondering with me in company ?

Greetings
Armin

I second you on this. Very few flight sims actually simulated the pilot inside of the cockpit. I can only think of OFF. There's also that mod for that World War II sim.

I do like the little guys looking around in RoF. I dunno, though... if it's a choice between my own body and framerate, I'd probably choose framerate. Maybe an option you could toggle on and off?

No problem for me at all. I see my own body when I look down on me by myself in real life

Teaser Screenshot of the Fokker EV add-on soon to be available for OFF. Hands and feet. Sweet.

ooohh that´s really sweet. I still did not made a decision between RoF and OFF. Now the balance hangs a little more in OFF-direction...

Greetings

Why you want to see a duplicate of yourself on the screen? Do you figure a professional simulator (I mean those used by real pilots for training) projecting on screens other hands and feet as replica of pilot's ones? Just confusing.

You see the bottom of the aircraft with the paddles on it right ? And there are no feet on it. You see the control stick and there´s no hand on it. Could you please explain to me how i can get my own hands and feet into the sim ?

Hee... this reminds of going to the hobby store and looking at plastic airplanes in the display case.

The owner came over and started ranting about modelers ruining gorgeous aircraft work with appalling pilot work. He did point out modelers who were good at sculpting humans, but said it was a completely different skill and was annoyed at people who didn't know their limits.

I peered at the little pilot sitting in there, and he indeed looked like he was raised in a coffin and had a real bad day with a moustache trimmer...
