WFP7 is actually the most stable version of ever... AFAIK, WFP2 has a problem with BE12: I got always DtD when playing campaign in Flanders during time range of its service until I did a patch on my own. Try to play in Marne or Verdun sector and see if it helps... Soon will be released an MFP5 (Moving Front Patch v.5) which is an UOP already containing WFP2 that should fix its bugs: at least there's an author to deal with.

Are you saying the DtD are because of the .bmp files that are swapped sometimes get dropped by CM11?
|
No sir. CM11 not copying all required files is an old urban legend absolutely false: it works ALWAYS. Missing files are simply forgotten by modder (quite possible if you consider they're thousands and their complex connection with various DAT file that call for them (Filelist.dat, Except.dat, Planesq.dat, etc.).

I've got two different copies of CM11...

You must use CM11, that's to say Campaign Manager version1.1, neither previous 1.0beta nor later 1.2-1.3-1.4 work or are suited.

The other problem being I still can't find a V4runner version that actually runs my VooDoo4500 in true 3DFX Glide mode...
|
Voodoo 4500 doesn't really require anything more that its own drivers. To limit memory to 2MB (avoiding texture corruption) just launch Baron.exe by following file batch:
@echo off
set FX_GLIDE_TMU_MEMSIZE=2
baron.exe
set FX_GLIDE_TMU_MEMSIZE=-1
exit
You didn't specify what OS: if XP you shouldn't have problems at all, if Vista the key problem seems to be missing INDEO codec (unfortunately no more supported with Vista) to run FLC footage contained in game.
