Cool

I'm just glad it's in a well patched version. All those tedious files, to put here, put it there, hundreds of after market patchs and add on's. There is only one time that

I've downloaded from a site and it did as it should have did. Even an icon on desktop. And I'm thinking well this old pc's had the XP Pro stuck in, so I used the first aid kit. Killed the sound dead. I took it out, and that was the last time I tried it.

to change the subject a tad, I go to I.A. to play AoA, and someone had
posted they had in the works, Red Baron 4. Said it had dropped in his lap
the oppotunity to do RB4..

Just a rumor I'm sure.
I do say a bit of gap up top, sorry.

good day,

Will the new RB3D work with 64 bit Vista? I have lots of programs that work with 32 bit Vista but keel over and die when tried on my 64 bit machine.

I can't do links yet,

I'm giving the short version. Supposedly a RB4 in the works.
At wwiaircombat.com there's more news on this topic.
In the articles section.

I just learned that the RB pack has 200 mb!Is it possible to shortcut the way from loading the patched up version and stick with the other two?My PC would not stand that ammount of mb!

OK, I got RB3D from GOG.com and am trying to patch it up. Ran the first two steps, the Superpatch and 1078, but I can't do the next step, the "Glide wrapper". The link points to a defunct Eastern European location, and as far as I can tell, that Voodoo wrapper is no longer available.

Has anyone else had this problem? I hope to eventually be able to run this game with TrackIR and all that other cool stuff!

New to WW1 and want to fly!

Hello, folks!
I'm faily new to this group and have just become thouroughly interested in WW1 aviation. I'm volunteering at an Aerodrome here in Central Texas and have a fairly good relationship with a Fokker DR1 (LeRhone powered) a Canuck (OX5 powered) and helping to finish up a couple of Thomas Morse Scouts.

I am also collecting and building 1/48th and 1/32nd models. That of course is going the usual way - faster collecting than building.

That said, I'd like to get a game or two for my old Dell with XP on it. Can any one lead me in the right direction? I've read this thread but really am at a loss as to what Red Baron is let alone the RB 3D and how I can obtain the CD's. Can a USB joystick be used or must it be serial?

HELP!

Thanks in advance,
Dave
