Microsoft FSX - Beginner

I've won a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator X via my flying club, and have never had a simulator before so looking forward to trying out some aircraft I probably won't have the chance to fly otherwise. Are the following available for FSX, and is it possible using the standard (presumably) copy of FSX to redesign aircraft colour schemes, modify the look of pilots etc? I'd ideally love to get my cyber-mitts on the controls of the following;

Airco DH4
Airco DH9
Handley Page O/100
Handley Page O/400
RAF FE2b
Armstrong Whitworth FK8
Bristol F2b Fighter

If you want to repaint aeroplanes for FSX, it is relatively simple, below is a link to tutorial on how to do that which I wrote (that is on AVSIM Online - Flight Simulation, Flightsim, flight sim, flight simulator, fsx, fs10, you might have to join the forum to see it, not sure about that, probably worth joining anyway, as there are many free aircraft you can download for FSX from avsim):

I'm currently making an Airco DH4 for FS, and it isn't actually that hard to do if you fancy having a try yourself. You'll want to get hold of 'FS Design Studio' (link below), which is excellent and very easy to use with really good built in tutorials. You can make anything you like with that program providing you have a decent three-view plan of it:

Abacus Main Menu

To give you an idea of what is possible in that program, here's a Land Rover I made for FS:

Here is that Land Rover in FS, and all the other scenery you see was also made by me in the same program, the plane was painted using the techniques in that tutorial:

Fantastic, thanks guys - looking forward to building my own RFC airfield then, should prove something enjoyable to do in breaks from dissertation writing, especially whilst there's not a great deal else to do now the cold weather's set in....

I've actually got so many irons in the fire right now,.. I really should slow down some. The FE is going to be a while yet.

But, I do have available an RE8 and FE4, which I don't even think made it to prototype status, but it's similar to a DH10, funkier with 2 Beardmore sixes.

I'm also doing some French lattice tails, Farmans, a "Horace" F.40 and HF.20 and HF.22.

My planes are intended to be used with Targetware, I kinda wonder if you'll want to bother with the conversion hassle of making them usable in MSFSX, It could be an interesting experiment.
