MvR's PlM
Hi All,
I've read that MvR got the notification that he had been awarded the Pour le Merite on January 12, 1917, but can anyone shed light on when he actually received the medal and began wearing it? He had been given command of Jasta 11 on January 10th, did he go on leave and receive the award then? Thanks, Bulldog 90 |
