German Airmen Holders Of This Turkish Order
Gentlemen,
Do you know any names of German airmen who were holders of the Turkish Order of the Medjidjie 3nd Class with Sabers? It was a neck order. I only know one so far and his name was Hauptmann Max Schueler von Krieken who was Major while employed with the Turkish Air Force. Major Erich Serno,commander of the Turkish Air Force,was probably one of the holders of that Turkish neck order. Sincerely, Edward

Major In The Turkish Air Force
Gentlemen,
When a German Hauptmann was employed in the Turkish Air Force,he became a Major. Normally Majors and over gets the Commander's Cross of most German States or their foreign allies like Turkey. How many Majors that served in the Turkish Air Force were awarded the Turkish Order of the Medijidjie 3rd Class with Sabers? I'm still waiting for some of the names of the German holders of that high Turkish neck decoration that you can think of. Sincerely, Edward
