wingedwarrior Forum Ace Contributor Join Date: Jul 2002	Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone can explain to me the reasons for the award of the Luitpold medal in bronze. I have read that it was for marksmanship, but I am not sure that this is correct. Also, I have seen a silver and bronze example of this medal, both with different likenesses of Prince Luitpold. The bronze examples also had different images on the reverse. Can anyone explain why this is? regards
