Where do I find a replica of this?

This is such a gorgeous medal!! Where can I get a replica of the Oder of the Red Eagle 3rd Class!

I believe your photo is that of either a second or first class awarded during wartime. The third class would have been on a regular chest ribbon, not a neck ribbon. The swords indicate it would be a war time award - peacetime awards of this do not have the swords.

Order of the Red Eagle 3rd Class

Hello Willi. Check out a real Order of the Red Eagle 3rd Class with Crown and Swords by typing in " Manfred von Richthofen Ordenskissen". Should bring up a thread started by GMU on June 17, 2009 showing his medal collection duplicating Orders and decorations awarded to MvR. Best regards, Dave.

this one is not a original awarded piece from WW1. There are less than 20 awarded pieces of Red Eagle 3rd Class with sword and oak leaf. So to find a real one is like winning the jackpot.
