Hi Margaret,
I really can't see how anyone can be 100% certain that this is in actuality MvR's Albatros. The dark color could be red, but it also may be the standard printed fabric or mauve/green paint. The aircraft is just too far away and out of focus to tell. Too me it also looks like the airplane has a white band around the fuselage, but that may be glare or a imperfection on the photo. Nice photo though.  regards, Darren |
