Another Great Richthofen find on ebay

Hi All,

Check out ebay item 6617657540, if you want to learn a few things. It's an amazing piece of memorabilia from Louis Richthofen, Manfred's OLDER brother! Seems he emigrated to the Us after the war, etc etc.

Greg

Howdy, Greg:
Manfred von R had an older brother? I thought Manfred was the oldest of three boys?

Another Great Richthhofen Fin On ebay

Manfred had two brothers whose names were Lothar and
Bolko. This other man might have been his uncle.

Louis von R.

Moved to the US after the war and led a quiet life making furniture??? !!! This is a gem, Greg! Thanks for sharing.

Seriously, to set the record straight, this guy has no idea of what he's saying. Manfred was the oldest of 3 brothers in his family...he had an older sister, Ilse. The Richthofen family was large and I don't know of any flying "Louis." I believe that some relatives did fly also but not as extensively as MvR and Lothar.

There's a Sucker Born Every Minute, then again I’m told that P.T. never said this....

I'll make sure that I correct all my reference books, now that’s Louis is the older brother, Ok Got it...So it is written....

Lloyd...

Oh the joy of the entertainment on Ebay....
