Photos - 55 Squadron

Hello everybody,

Can anyone suggest where I might obtain photographs relating to 55 Squadron, (up to and inlcuding 1918) - individual members, groups or otherwise?

Also, is it possible to optain copies of pictures taken by the squadron on any of their photographic missions, and would these go so far as to name the photographer?

Many thanks,

Derek

FWIW, here is an article I did a while back on Capt. Charles Heater who won the DFC while flying with 55 Sqdn in the summer of '18. There is only one photo related to 55 Sqdn here and its very dark, but some info on Heater's work with the unit. I have several more photos of him but I'm not sure how many are related to 55... I'll try to have a look.

Check here. I'm not sure if there are any, but worth the check.

Look at the Allied Aircraft and Allied Pilots group in the photo section and the Allied lists in the files section.
