Postcards for French Aces?

Does anyone know if France had any postcards for their aces similar to the Sankes? So far I haven't found anything on this subject.

Hi Margaret,

I have seen quite a few French postcards of Guynemer, Pegoud, and others. I don't believe there was any one company or photographer most associated with them, as Sanke was in Germany (though there were other German postcard manufacturers who covered the Jagdflieger, like NPG and Liersch - I think). I'll see what I can come up with.

Hi,

Greg's right. There are postcards of the most popular French Aces. I primarily collect Sankes, but lately have looked at some of the French items available. I recently picked up a couple of Guynemers and a Nungesser. The prices weren't too bad, but so far bargains have been rare.
