Talking MvR's Silver Cup inscription

Mates,
A while back I was interested in what information was on Manfred von Richthofens little silver cups and stumbled across this info - just as a lark for all to enjoy espically our new members that have recently come on board.

To celebrate each of his victories, he would order himself a two-inch-high silver trophy from a jeweler in Berlin. On his first cup was engraved, "1 VICKERS 2 17.9.16."

The first number reflected what number kill;

the word represented what kind of airplane;

the third item represented the number of crew on board;

and the fourth was the date of the victory (day, month, year).

Is it known where any of the silver cups are? I'd been under the impression that the contents of the Richthofen Estate went to the Soviet Union after 1945. Is that incorrect? Thanks folks.

The popular story is that the Russians removed the contents of the house and the memorabilia disappeared into Russia. Another story is that the Richthofens escaped with some of the treasures including Manfred's silver cup collection. A few of these cups were then sold to collectors.
