Who bought this flying helmet?

I remember seeing this go for sale years ago, and was wondering if anybody on here bought, or knows who bought this flying helmet? I will pay dearly for it. Thank you in advance.

I saw the same picture on the US Navy Museum web site a few years ago. I have the exact one and didn't know what I had until I found it on the site. My sister was cleaning out her late father-in-law's estate and they found this. She asked me if I wanted it because she said they were going to throw it out. It was really in bad shape, covered with mold. I cleaned it off with vaseline and could read the lettering of Ambercrombie on back and a date of 1918. It also looked like a dog chewed on one of the chin straps. I had someone sew it up a broken chin strap. I picked up some goggles to go with it and it's displayed in our office in the basement. It's also listed in the Dougboy to GI, by Ken Lewis, as a motorcyclist helmet on page 34.
