My SANKE Card double signed Boelke and Immellman

Well I thought you guys would enjoy my best (by far) WWI signature piece. Its a SANKE card double-signed by Boelke and Immellman. The plan is to commission a large pencil drawing show both of them flying together, I am probably gonna twist Russell Smith's arm to come to my rescue and do the drawing. This is a large DR1 drawing he did for me that I love, so I am thinking maybe half again as big, perhaps even have both planes on the ground with the pilots mounting them right before take-off.

thanx
pat

Yes indeed

Both aircraft will naturally be Eindeckers.

Biggest decision is on the ground or in the air?

I am torn and keep changing my mind........

Its a good problem to have I suppose.

Any specific suggestions?

Hey guys, beyond deciding if the drawing should be on the ground or in the air. Do you all have any other specific ideas/suggestions as to what you would like to see if you got the drawing for yourself.
I am in no huge hurry as I need to get the funds available for the drawing iteself, LOL. At least the most expensive part is paid for. Also having the artist picked out (Russell Smith) is just great piece of mind as Russ is just a brilliant artist and a pleasure to do business with. Even a huge (24X20 or so) pencil drawing shouldn't run more than $800 ish.
Any Eindecker pieces that you guys are partial to?

regards
pat

I'd go with on the ground, suited up and either shaking hands or giving each other a "good luck" wave before going up. But that's just me. Whatever you decide will look terrific.

on the ground

I am leaning towards the "On the Ground" concept.
Gotta stay focused and push this project forward, the SANKE card is just 2
nice to sit in the drawer.
