Hi,
That is a spectacular collection you've put together. I wonder about the Guynemer though. Its dated Sept, 15, but that card came out much later.
Thoughts anyone?

noone of above mentioned, my grand uncle K.Semmelrock never reached an ace status, with only 3 victories reached on eastern front.
He attended a flying school in Briest-Brandenburg with Udvardy and Kassa among others and fought alongside Stefan Fejes and other great combat pilots of Fliegerkompagnie 51 on Italian front.
Have another pic of uncle Karl with austrian ace Franz Rudorfer, not signed though + many others forgotten pilots who never became aces, just like my grand uncle.

Remarkable collection and history. Thank you for sharing and three victories is remarkable too! You may have pictures of various squadrons that would be greatly enjoyed by those researching those squadrons. So, thanks for sharing!
As an avid genealogist, the collection and the information are an incredible addition for future generations to enjoy as well.

Hi Kajoo,
You might consider creating an on line album with your photos, especially if you have the names of those "forgotten pilots." It could be and asset to both researchers of the Eastern Front, and family members searching for lost relatives.

Steve an excellent idea. Our community did just such a thing and it was well received and is very much used. There is a lot of information for people wanting to do "mini-on-line exhibits" but I can't post the link. SO.. Do a google search for Olympic Peninsula Community Museum Project Project Resources. You should be able to find the information on scanning and suggestions on how to put an exhibit together. You are absolutely right that genealogists and military historians would love to know the existence of such treasures in Kajoo's family.

I ´m thinking about it. No problem with uploading the pics only thing I need is one free weekend to do so. Btw sorry for not responding I was off.
Up to know I thought this site is dominantly focused on western front. I´m glad there is someone whos interested in eastern/alpine fronts.

Hi Bulldog, it's definitely a Guynemer autograph as I have several and have seen many in my 20 years of collecting and many fakes also..I would like to know more about the date you mentioned.
I had similar questions about the Lufbery and the dates but it was proven real beyond a shadow of doubt.
It's confusing me a bit who is talking to Kajoo or me...there are two different collections on this thread. Mine and Kajoo's ...nice aces Kajoo by the way.

My mistake for part of that confusion. All of these photos are awesome and thank you for sharking them and really starting this thread. I think Kajoo mentioned a few more in his archives but was uncertain about whether there would be interest.
I have marked this forum as a reference MK2 for autographs, just in case I ever stumble across an alleged Udet signature.
