Excellent photos, Ritterton. Thanks again for sharing them.
The first one is a particularly nice find...All I can tell you about it is, it's an LVG C.II
I think you're probably right about the 2nd photo being post-war, but the plane is in fact a Curtiss JN-4 'Jenny'.
Good luck finding more bargains!

Bucky -
Thanks for the ID on the crash picture. I wasn't making much progress on that one at all.
I also appreciate the correction as to the USA being a Jenny. Need to find a few more reference books here...I am sure I can justify them as "essential additions to the library, honey."
Have a few neat balloons coming...onese I got for a true steal! Can't wait to see that one show up - I mean at 1 Euro each.... :-)

Nice collection, Ritterton! Thank you for sharing!
The two cockpits are very close togheter and too far back. It is D.H.9A, I believe.

Gotha - with crew
Unfotunately, the image isn't the best on the original - it is blurred to the righ to of the picture. I also cannot see any identifying marks or numbers beyond the partial cross.

Just Me and My Plane
Well, not much information on this little snap shot. But, wanted to share it as I have been a bit silent on various fronts for a while. Holidays did that and mot of the pocket change went elsewhere - rightfully so.
This image my bride got me along with a group of other great emphemra items. Anyone able to provide any information - would always appreciate it and be grateful for it.
Happy New Year

My first impression is that it is a Dorand AR1 or AR2, but I can't find other photos that match both the exhaust and radiator.

Zeppelin Bomber
Hey guys this is something that I got from my bride for Christmas that got lost in the process Christmas clean up. My initial guess is that this is post WWI reprint. But of an older age none the less.
Also, my initial look of this is that the insignia is more like that of Austria than of Germany, but it could just be the angle.

Hello Rittertone,
I have just found this thread and I must admit I am surprised that I have not landed here before. You have got a handsome collection.
As for the last photo – it is not Austro-Hungarian. This is German VGO III R. 10/15. You can find more on this particular Riesenflugzeug in one of previous Breguet’s ID Challenges:
Breguet's Aircraft ID Challenge # 669
