Bruno, Marek, and Steve -

THANK YOU FOR THE IDS! Much appreciated...now to spend some computer time surfing for histories of such planes. Truly enjoy that aspect of this. Appreciate the help and the information!

Hi Bruno,

The AR1 in your photo appears to have the same radiator as Ritterton's, but the exhaust is different. That is the problem I was having. I could find one feature or the other, but not both.

Can we each claim downing the other???

Or, maybe "Just blame the Germans" ;-)

Interesting RPPC. French back with "FREJUS" scrawled in pencil across the back. For some reason I want to say Neuport for the two seater, but have no reason why my brain is saying that. Not much to identify these two unluck birds. Does appear to be a number seven on each of the fuselages, but not positive about that one either.

Without any doubt I can say that the pilots probably couldn't sit on their haunches for days after this one -- and their crew chiefs probably didn't speak to either of them for the rest of the war!

Enjoy.

Nice picture! It is 1920s, I believe.

Bonsoir

I agree wit Yavor the period is certainly in 1920's ==> 1930's
Perhaps the two planes are Nieuport-Delage bi-place for training pupose
(series 42-62 ?)
