Talking Priceless Richthofen memorabilia on ebay!

Hey Guys & Gals:

You simply MUST check out this amazing auction for these one-of-a-kind, simply priceless artifacts on ebay!!

THE "RED BARON" THE GERMAN ACE OF WW1 PERSONAL EFFECTS! - eBay (item 170316239982 end time Apr-05-09 12:15:11 PDT)

Better hurry - only three days left! Such a good price, too!!

The "story" behind the , er, acquisition of these amazing items is almost worth the price in itself. It even comes with a letter of authenticity!!

I hope nobody falls for this garbage....

Greg

P.S. My thanks to Lance B for sharing this incredible find with me!!

Wanna buy a bridge?

Greg,

Wow, thanks for sharing this auction with us. Isn't it amazing that such "rare" items can be made so easily available to us? Imagine such priceless MvR memorabilia being just a mouse-click away. The 'Net is such a wonderful thing.

I think I'll place a bid, just as soon as I find someone to take the Brooklyn Bridge off my hands. (I won the Ebay auction for it just last week. Got a great deal on it.)

"THESE COLLECTORS' PRICELESS ITEMS ARE SOLD AS A LOT, CONSISTING OF 4 BRASS BEER STEINS, MADE ENTIRELY FROM THE BRASS SHELL CASINGS OF FRENCH 75mm CASINGS, USING THE ONCE LIVE PROJECTILES AS HANDLES; ITEM NUMBER TWO ARE THE LETTERS OF AUTHENTICATION, WRITTEN AND SIGNED BY TWO OF THE ASSASINATION SQUAD WHO WERE ASSIGNED TO GAIN CLANDESTINE ENTRY TO THE RED BARON'S BUNKER, THROUGH ITS INTRICATE UNDERGROUND TUNNEL SYSTEM. THE SQUAD MISSED THEIR TARGET AS THE BARON MADE HIS ESCAPE THROUGH THE OPPOSITE END OF THE TUNNELS. BEFORE EXITING, THE SQUAD REMOVED THE BARON'S HIGHLY PRIZED SET OF SIX PEWTER SHOT GLASSES, EACH WITH THE NAME OF ONE OF THE SIX AIRFIELDS THE BARON USED TO FLY HIS SORTIES INTO ENEMY TERRITORY. THE FINAL ITEM IS THE LEATHER CASE FOR THE SHOT GLASSES."

Oh, man, that's just gold; pure gold!

Mates,
It just gives be goose bumps to be allowed to see them - not.

Good luck to the lucky buyer and I hope his father was John Paul Getty.

I guess it will be a big success. The seller looks trustworthy with currently 0 ratings and of course the price...what a great offer

Priceless Richthofen memorabilia

VERY amusing.
The Red Baron had his own bunker - I'm jealous.

I'm also surprised that the seller's other items aren't MVRs lost cowboy boots.

I have heard and read some outlandish tales about Manfred von Richthofen, but this one takes the prize.

Hey All,

If you hurry I believe you can still get a snippet of his hair on eBay as well to go with this set? (Remember that one)?

What scares me is when this stuff actually sells!
