Up early on the last day of a traveling vacation and decided to check in on the Aerodrome links....and saw this collection.

MK2 - those are amazing - SMITHSONIAN amazing. Wow. Thank you for sharing those.

No, I did get a chuckle out of the one that has the title MUTATIONS on it...obviously doesnt mean what I thought.

Wow....these are stunning the Nungasser - wow...look at that picture and the medals. Wow.

Thank you for sharing these - truly worth of a museum...could I make a pitch and lobby for the Smithsonian or hey, there is this great museum in Seattle - the Boeing Museum of Flight... ;-)

I recently aquired this from the family of

Frank Luke . It is his perosnal map that he used to navigate to his squadron upon landing in Europe. He has signed it twice. This map can also be seen in the book "The Stand" . It does not get rarer than this and would be the cornerstone of any museum quality collection.

Other stuff in my collection I finally got around to scannning (much more to come):
