Immelmann was an accomplished gymnast, and very fit. Something of what we would call a "health nut" today, except he had a weakness for cake.

Hi everyone!
It's definitely Max Immelmann. Though I haven't seen this particular shot, it was taken the same time as another of him standing on the same ladder and spreading his coat like wings (see attached).
