Mate,
It looks like Voss' handwriting on an authorization for him to go on leave 11 Sept 1917.
Here is what I have on the subject:
He had written out and signed his own leave form dated the evening of 11 Sept 1917, authorizing him to travel to Crefeld, Dusseldorf, Berlin and Schwerin, Germany. At the end of his leave he visited the Fokker Flugzeugwerkes at Schwerin, Germany where he flight tested a production model V5 triplane. Voss returned to Marckebeeke airfield and was back in action on the 23 of Sept 1917. When Voss returned from his morning patrol, in which he claimed his 48th Victory, he was greeted by his two brothers, Otto and Max. They had arrived sometime during the morning; they all enjoyed a leisurely lunch together and posed for pictures. They did not know that this was the last time they would see their brother alive, by evening he was dead (a Pfalz D.III was used as a backdrop for the posed pictures). ‘September Evening’ by Barry Diggens – pg 75-76, 78. ‘Who Downed the Aces in World War 1’ by Norman Franks – Pg 90, Illustration pg 11. ‘LT.
Werner Voss – Germany’s Greatest Teenage Ace’ by Walter A. Musciano – Pg.35. 'Richthofen's Circus': Jagdgeschwader Nr 1’ by Greg Vanwyngarden and Harry Dempsey – pg 55.

Looks like a copy I have of his leave authorization from the Charles Donald Collection.
Any chance of getting a better scan of the whole pic and the authorization letter for me to compare with the copy that I have?
