Thumbs down

That scruffy looking oik with hands in pockets looks more like Aircraftsman Barking, loitering with neferious intent, behind the dustbins at Vert Gallant!

Everyone at the Aerodrome:

...thanks so much for all the kind words in regards to our upcoming 1/48 Voss. Mike Good is really a MASTER and has created a truly outstanding figure ...and it's only 1/48!! That's the most amazing thing!!!!

Re; Retreads comment:
"...Pretty remarkable, it looks just like him..."

Well, here is the photo that I gave Mike for inspiration =).

...UNBELIEVABLE LIKENESS!!

That gormless looking article is in fact Vert Gallant's very own Aircraftsman Barking, miles behind enemy lines on a secret mission to drain the petrol tank of the yellow cowled Fokker. He needn't have posed for that photo to prove to his Major that he was 'there', 'cos, as we all know on his next mission the pilot of said Tripe ran out of fuel and crashed.

For those who may not have checked out the ModelCellar link you should do so. The Guynemer figure (I believe 120mm) is also truely outstanding. I may have to break out the ancient paints and brushes. Likewise the Lewis gunner. Outstanding stuff.

Unbelievable!!!

Hey Everyone;

What a great piece. Can't wait to purchase one. I have just started on a copy of Voss's Triplane (finally). What great timing!

Now, can we just have some sculpts of seated pilots too. How about a copy of Boelcke seated with flying helmet on in 1/48 scale. Or just a generic British and German seated pilot with that kind of attention to detail. That would be incredible.

Can't wait to get Voss.

scooterjmuggs out...
