Hello! I want to present my latest build... It is my second model of WWI aircraft after almost 20 years. I have modified the interior a little bit by adding some details. This is the painting of Paul Tarascon... If I were to build it once again it would be blue as the latest research turned out...
Some build pic's. I enlarged apaper model NP-11 plan and made the wings from 2mm Depron foam and the tail areas from 1MM Depron.
The fake LeRhone was also made from foam. I also Sculped a WWI British pilot for other Micro builds and now he's French. Made from light weight Smooth-On feather weight material cast from my Sculpty clay orginal and silicone mold. I ended up using a Jello container bottom for the cowling as it had to be thin.
The Lewis gun foam and CF rods. E-gear ParkZone brick and P-51 motor & gearbox. It has ailerons, rudder, elevator and motor control the fake LeRhone free wheels on the e-motor shaft.
