Here is a photo of my Se5a. I like to add a coat of clear gloss varnish to props, struts and metal panels to give them a shine appearance for realism. Props look a lot better.

Nice job!

What colour did use for the PC10?

How did you find the Roden decals?

Cheers

I make my own PC 10 color by mixing black and a mustard yellow.

I find the decals to be very brittle in most of their kits. While they are of generally good sharp quality they tend to be too brittle and crack or flake off.

I have been making my own decals as of late and have been enjoying it. Here is Spad 13 of C0 Charles Biddle, 13th Aero. I did all decals for the plane. My decals are just as good and the paper is a little better!

The models look great!

I've read that there's some sort of decal fixing solution one can apply to Roden's decals to make them work better.

Microscale and Testors both make decal fixing solutions. I've not used them, but I think you need to fix the decals you make on your printer, right Todd?

Regards,

Yes, once printing them on decal paper there is a decal fixative that is sprayed over them that is more of a sealer to make them water repellant so color does not run. I get excellent results with their paper but the only thing is I must paint the surface where the decal is to be placed white so that the color of the decal displays properly.
