I'm working on roden's 1/72 fokker d7 (alb) late, and I've gotten to the point where I need to put on the lozenge decals and i've never really done it before. Are there any good tips for application? I already have a gloss coat on the wings. Also should i apply some of the microscale decal film to the lozenge, some of the roden decals in the past have broken apart and I dont know if these ones are fine or not.
Thanks for the help
Derek

HelloI
No replies on your request, but I'm will try to help You. I'm built kit #029 (D.VII OAW-mid) three years ago, and can said You next.
Decal is not bad and be sure - it not have tendency to desintegration. But decal is not elastic and adhesion is poor. I'm used a very small quantity of MicroScale's Micro Weld liquid glue - added with brush on the edges, glue maded decal "boiled" to the plastic. In any case, overcoating with satin varnish is necessary. One point - rib strips must be "salmon", not light blue for Alb - built D.VII.

I have not used Roden's Lozenge, but on the Roden decals I have used I used testor's decal setting solution and put some Future floor polish over them and they were fine.CW

IMHO, Rodens decals are bad. Try another one. I have my own question -
