John Adams has done more for for this hobby than anyone else I can think of, but Aeroclub do have an unfortunate habit of announcing subjects years in advance. Back in nineteen ought 96/7, when I was producing resin kits, I spoke to John Adams at the Nationals about future releases, the DH5 was on his list then. In fairness they are not alone in this and I suppose it must be the industry's way of hopefuly preventing duplication, the short run manufacturer's worst nightmare. Not long ago there were a couple of occasions when BM and Eduard had virtually simultanious releases of near identical subjects, not good for either of them and not good for any of us.

PeterL;

I didn't realize that the DH5 had been on Aeroclub's list for so long - I remember seeing it as I was browsing thriough their web-site.

I can see your point of manufacturers announcing kits long in advance so has to preclude duplication - but 7 years - ouch!!!!

It seems that Blue -Max is the only manufacturer to keep to deadlines.

I think Roden does a fair job in '48, at least.
Spirit if not letter of the law.

Reasons cited, when not.

that'll work...
