[b] I'm new to the WWI modelling game and am currently making a series of 2SQN AFC models. I have a number of B&W photos of their aircraft showing markings. However, I need to know the schemes and colours used on RAF and, I guess by default, AFC aircraft of the period (either FS numbers or equivalent tastors/Tamiya numbers would be great). The kits I'll be making include: Sopwith 'Trainer' 1 1/2 Strutter, Sopwith Pup, AVRO 504 and SE-5a. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

This is an SE5a aircraft of 2 Squadron Australian Flying Corps in late 1917 or early 1918. It is carrying the insignia worn before April 1918. The profile is taken from a photograph in "Men and Machines of the Australian Flying Corps 1914 - 1919". The same photograph shows two other aircraft bearing the flight numbers "E" and "X" and is captioned " SE5a aircraft of No 2 Squadron AFC wait at an advanced landing ground near Bapaume early in 1918. "C" is probably A8934, one of the first produced and by this time a real veteran.". Note the boomerang squadron marking aft of the fuselage roundal.
