Hello to all!
Today I'm obtained a new excellent 1/72 Ansaldo Ballila. The name of manufacturer is new for me - Karaya, Poland. Their site:
www.karaya.ceti.pl
Quality of kit is superb - only Ardpol resin kits have a same quality. I'm already have old HitKit kit, but this is much better! My highly recomendation for all, who love WW1 1/72 kits!
BTW, next will be 1/72 Short 827/830 and 1/48 Ballila!!!

Hello Stephen!
I'm just started Eduard's Junkers J1, but I'm think that Ballila will be now on the first place. I'm love this nice aircraft - fortunately, Datafile #88 I'm obtained two years ago. Comparison of main parts with drawings make me happy - absolutely OK in all measures! Only thing, which spoiled impression about this little beauty - green color on the Italian insignia (four Ardpol italians have same error). Green is close to "military green", but Italian national color is a bright light green! In this case decal from old HitKit model will be more suitable.
HEY, PEOPLE FROM KARAYA! YOU ARE MADE A SUPERB KIT BUT PLEASE ASK Mr. KAZIEMIR LATA FROM Techmod TO CHANGE GREEN COLOR! AT LEAST, FOR NEXT 1/48 BALLILA...

I'm think that in the nearest days kit will be on my "workbench' and I'm say more!

Only now noticed that spelling on the box of kit is incorrect (I'm repeat it too! ): Ballila - You can see on the box but right spelling is BALILLA !!! Errare humanum est...

For anyone is building this (would be REALLY attractive in 1/48), I have a reference on Early Polish AF Aircraft that includes a nice line drawing of fuselage cross-section and some colo(u)r plates of Polish and Italian kites. If interested PM or e-mail me. I should be at home in about 6 hrs. Regards, Rob
