[b] SteveS how did you remake the radiator? Mine has a nive big injection mark in it. <_<
Hi Ross,
So did mine. I made a new one. The radiator on ORA's Hisso Jenny was more rounded on the top and bottom than the kits just didn't look right. I took some thin plastic strips and laminated three together using liquid cement. I bent them around a dowel before gluing. I cut a new bottom nose section from sheet stock rounding off the bottom and edges also adding the blacked out lower panel. The radiator core was then cut from sheet stock, covered with a micro fine brass mesh screen front and rear before gluing into the radiator shell. The core was then drilled to accept a brass tube which the crank passes thru. Here is a photo of the ORA Hisso Jenny. Mine came out not perfect but a lot closer than the stock one.

Salute,
Steve

At SteveS. Thanks mate. That has given me something to go by. Also loved your build in the other Jenny thread too.

[b] Someone does a Canuck decal set, but I can't remember who.
IIRC the Decals were Blue Rider

NOPE... gonna build it OOB... (out of the bag)

I'm NOT gonna do interior detailing. I just don't have the manual dexterity to do all those tiny little things- 1/48 is still just too small for my clumsy mitts. I have the utmost respect for those of you who can and do detail like that, but it's not for me. Flying wires I can deal with- they're on the outside, at least marginally.

I'll see what I can do about making the radiator look better, but I'm worried about the OUTSIDE of this thing. If it's pretty close, I'm ok with that. The interior is best left to the pros.

Looks like I need to "justify" an airbrush now...

Brad
