Is there a web-site that gives general modeling tips for beginners? I have a bunch of the 1/28 scale models that I want to build (since I'm going thru surgery tomorrow I'll have alot of time off of work recouping to start building), and want to make these things look at least half as good as the ones I've seen on this site!

Thanks,

Paul

Paul,

Good luck and God bless with your surgery.

There's a wounderous number of good tips sites out there. One of the best is the Aircraft Resource Center:

http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/

Click on "Tools and Tips" in the banner.

Another great site for tips is the WWI Modeling Page:

http://www.wwi-models.org/

Especially this page:

http://www.wwi-models.org/misc/index.html

Then there's our own Peter L's page:

http://www.wwimodeler.com

Especially this page:

http://www.wwimodeler.com/escadrille.html

Regards,

First, get well!

Second, if you are shooting for half as good as some of the ones on here, you're a better man than I!
