Flash! tomorrows news today! 'Noted Brit hero is out of the bag!' German guards discovered that the Mad major has tunneled out from his cell under and what he previously refered to a 'Dunny.' His prisoner's clothes were found near a drainage conduit that empties into a sewage ditch, 300 yards from his jail cell.

Thumbs up

Looking at his silken escape map the gallant Major sets off walking, singing a little tarradiddle with which to keep up his spirits.
"It's a long way to Tipperary, it's a long way to go. Keep the home fires burning, as I'll get there some day!"
Having gone two hundred yards his attention is caught by a Bristol Fighter making a perfect three pointer in the next field.
"C'mon fatlad it's bullybeef for supper." Shouts Missy above the roar of the engine.

...STOP PRESS...

England's greatest air Ace returns to Vert Gallant after top secret mission behind enemy lines!
ps "Uncle, how do I get these bally smiley's working?"

A young Ltn. Karl Otto von Titzlinger in attendance raised the query about attacking the Mad Major's machine using the tried and true method of blinding your quary while attacking from a greater height with the sun is at your back.. For more on his career see;
