There are pins and holes in this tank that have no rhyme or reason.I suspect another casting screwup!
Along the top longerons of the fuselage just behind the oil tank, there are a lot of parts and pieces that are hung to the frame.Guns ,ammo boxes etc... ending with the instrument panel.I think that it would be wise to build and then dry fit all of this before gluing anything down permanently .

I wonder if they used some kind of tape to hold the tubing to the frame?

Ammunition boxes/chutes
Because the guns on my Camel will be fakes(because this aircraft is being depicted as being used in air shows and movies) I really could have left the ammo boxes off altogether but for the sake of completeness I decided to put them on.Problem is the supplied parts look nothing like the real thing. The whole assembly to too small for the caliber of the guns especially the chutes which are quite noticeably out of scale. Here again I choose to modify rather than to scratch build new ones which probably would be easier.I just thought you guys might be more interested in how I modify the supplied parts.
There are only 2 parts to this assembly.Don't look for part #63 as it doesn't exist. It was replaced by part # 62a and 62b which nobody bothered to note in the plans or the instruction booklet. The plans show a much larger assembly, which is to say the least all very confusing.Anyway I dry fitted all the parts that rest on the upper longerons and even my modified version will fit quite easily.

General arrangement of the parts and pieces on the top longeron. It is a good thing that these are fake guns as that is the way they look anyway.
