This is an actual copy of the sign in front of the Pickford-Fairbanks studios in Hollywood. The camel is being shipped via truck and rail to California for use in movies. The Pickford connection is Mary Pickford a very famous personality at the time. She has a Canadian connection in that she was born in Toronto. This gives the diorama another subtle connection to the era.
