All pinned and ready for the glue! I am happy to report that the spars were only lightly sanded and fit perfectly into the ribs.

I am sure that you will agree that nothing looks as good as wood on a wooden aircraft!
 Notice that the ribs at both ends of the center section where they join to the upper wings panels, have caps that are cut flush with the rib sides.The spars have yet to be trimmed!The metal fitting where spars meet ,I will fake using metal tape.

The next step is to carefully trim the front end of the ribs where they will attach to the leading edge.I use sandpaper glued to a piece of wood for this operation.It is very important to get a nice tight fit here for smooth airflow over the top of the wing.There should be no noticeable gap between cap strip and leading edge.

Center section leading edge.
The leading edge is now ready to be glued on ,it will be shaped by hand according to the drawings.Note I added a thin strip of wood to the bottom of the leading edge to raise it to its proper level as the wood supplied for this is slightly undersized.I could have added it to the top but it is less noticeable underneath.
You will note that I have not mentioned wood sizes etc...mostly only my method of putting it together.The wood required is all mentioned in the instruction booklet available free of charge on the Model Expo website.
