Rather than trying to explain how to modify figures ,my friend Ken Hamilton has OK'd me to use this chart from his now out of print book, "How to Build Creative Dioramas".

I will have to sink the tub legs into the ground in order to leave a little more room for water.This would also be a good area to put a water pump and well.

I removed the saddle and will replace it later with a blanket. I used thinned down burnt umber gesso as the undercoat.

After an additional 2 thin coats of 2/3 burnt sienna and 1/3 yellow oxide mix.
