Minus the wings?
Well maybe not! If the hangar was located on a training field it could have been dragged along the ground to its present position and just left there to be stripped of parts. The position of the aircraft is so dramatic in itself that I would hate to change anything except maybe weathering it as though it has spent some time there.I plan to put some kind of sled under the engine to suggest this scenario.

Here is a bit of fun concerning Göring's damaged Tuxedo Alb. D.III (date circa 16.7.17 ?)

Step one,the base.
The base is 3/4 " plywood. On this I have marked out the position of the hangar and cut out 2 holes to accommodate the screws in the wheels of the Albatros. The hangar will be screwed to the plywood from below.I have left a one inch margin all around for the museum's cabinet makers when they build the case.

These are two of the 3/8" landscaping panels that will completely surround the hangar.
