Sure ,that was done by our own Stephen Lawson .It, along with the Dietz painting "C'est La guerre",was the inspiration for my piece.

All artists are influenced and inspired by others,in this case a fellow modeler,a painter and a photographer.The creativity here is to bring it all together and tell an interesting story.Man,I love doing dioramas!

Tricks of the trade.
The earlier pic with the dog behind the hangar door is probably what I will eventually go with.He is a little too obvious in this setting and tends to distract from the hangar scene.I think that it will be more powerful for the viewer to discover the dog as an afterthought, hidden behind the hangar door.
